Constellations

I'm really not a fan of winter. Among other things, I'm more likely to have migraines during that time of year. Migraines are actually phenomenologically similar to brain freeze (and for this reason, when a non-migraine suffering friend asks me what they feel like, in addition to explaining the neurological symptoms I experience, like blind spots, numbness in my face and hands, and so on, I tell them it feels like brain freeze). The cold will often give me a serious headache. But my favorite thing about the coming of winter is getting to see my old friend, Orion, the first constellation I learned and the one I can identify most easily.

On the subject of constellations, I'm spending a quiet night at home with a bottle of wine, so I'm revisiting one of my favorite movies, Stargate. Which always makes me think of this meme:
