Like most people who know a lot about a discipline, I tend to see the world through a lens of my field - in my case, psychology. Psychological research and theory shapes how I think about the world and how I interpret events, objects, behaviors, etc. I'm especially interested in the media and popular culture, so my deep thoughts (or what I like to think are deep - I suppose you can be the judge of that) are often about things that are, well, trivial. Hence, the name of this blog.
This is where I will post the latest of my deeply trivial thoughts. I share them with you in the hopes to spark some discussion - by hearing the thoughts of others, I can come to some new conclusions; I honestly enjoy hearing what other people think of issues that are important to me, so I hope you'll play along :)
